Hotels & Lodges - Mozambique
Most of Mozambique tourism focuses on it’s beautiful coastline made up of long sandy beaches, turqoise waters, startling reefs and fascinating towns and villages that tell a tale of its both colonial and troubled past.
The typical style of accommodation in Mozambique are beach lodges and island lodges. There is a great number number of self catering houses and camp sites and varying shape and form. There are not many hotels in the traditional sense, except for in major centres such as Maputo.
To present Mozambique hotels & lodges, we have divided the coastline into 3 regions that encompass most areas that we sell. These areas have been identified around access to each region.
The Pemba Area
The coastal town of Pemba is situated in the province of Cabo Delgado on the remote and beautiful north east coast of Mozambique. Pemba Bay is one of the largest inland bays in the world. Pemba competes with the best beach destinations in the world with its stunning waters, beautiful beaches and coral reefs.

Vilaculos - Bazaruto Area
Bazaruto Island is one of five principal islands in the Bazaruto Archipelago, which lies just 30km off the coast of Vilanculos in the Inhambane Province of Mozambique. It is the largest of all the islands, approximately 37km long and up to 7km wide. Bazaruto Island is part of the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park, one of the largest conservation areas in the Indian Ocean.

Inhambane - Barra Peninsula Area
Inhambane is a Mecca for photographers. The town and area holds a an attraction that originates from the rusty old colonial town with dilapidated buildings and derelict maintenance. The area offers guests an interesting mix of old colonial Portuguese and Muslim cultures. The peninsula itself has allowed for long beautiful beaches that offer great swimming, snorkelling and fishing opportunities.
