Kulala Desert Lodge is located n the arid Namib Desert on the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve and has its own access route to the famous red dunes of Sossusvlei.

Accommodation at Kulula Desert Lodge

The camp is made up of thatched and canvas kulalas each with ensuite bathrooms and private verandas. Each room sits on a deck slightly above the ground and has a deck on the rooftop where guests can place bedrolls to enjoy a Namibian night sky second to none.

The main area, has a North African theme to the dècor. The camp has a lounge, pub, dining area, plunge pool and a deck that watches over a waterhole. This pan in front of the camp attracts a variety of local animals and allows avid photographers amble opportunity for desert shots.

Safaris at Kulala Desert Lodge

The lodge offers early morning guided nature drives to the famous dunes of Sossusvlei. Nature drives and guided walks are also offered on the private reserve. Another optional extra is the early morning hot air balloon safari that offers mind blowing contrasts of colour and desert textures.
