Hamilton's Tented Camp is situated in the Limpopo Province inside the Kruger National Park. Only a 5 and a half-hour drive from Johannesburg, near the Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park. Should you be travelling from Nelspruit it is a 2 and a half-hour drive from Kruger Gate. High Risk Malaria Area, guests are advised to take maximum precaution.
Hamilton's Tented Camp offers a unique safari experience that is the epitome of luxury and privacy. Six magnificent en suite tents (either king or twin) with flowing mosquito nets, slipper baths and a superb view of the Ngwenyeni dam are linked by raised timber walkways amongst ancient Jackalberry trees. At Hamiltons Tented Camp, each suite has air conditioning and a ceiling fan, as well as its own private verandah with an outdoor shower. The open tented lounge and dining room are perched on wooden decks while a secluded swimming pool and viewing deck offer ultimate privacy.
With a fine tradition of luxury in true 'Out of Africa' style, you'll enjoy the journey - open vehicle safari, walking safari or seasonal Makoro trips along the Ngwenyeni watercourse. Activities at Hamiltons Tented Camp include game drives, bush walks and bird watching in the hide overlooking the waterhole. The two daily game drives go out in summer at about 05h30 and in the evenings at 17h30. In winter the morning drives depart at approximately 06h00 and the evening drives depart at 16h00. The game drives last about three hours. Evening Game Drives last about four hours with a stop for sundowners before viewing nocturnal animals.
