Tanda Tula Safari Camp - South Africa
Renowned as the most luxurious tented game camp in South Africa, Tanda Tula is situated amidst 20 000 acres of bushveld adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Set among stately and ancient trees such as leadwood, knob thorn and jackleberry the camp is situated along the dry banks of the Nhlaralumi river course.
The focal point of the camp is the long thatched roof of the open sided bar/lounge, which over looks the waterhole where you may catch a glimpse of some thirsty visitor while you sip a cool long drink during the heat of the day.
Afternoons spent around the swimming pool are popular whilst the highlight of each evening is the open-air dinners served around the log fires in the traditional boma or barbeque style at the riverbed. Tanda Tula offers fine International cuisine but with an African dimension such as medallions of kudu gratinated with cheese and mushrooms accompanied by fine and distinguished South African wines.
ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation at Tanda Tula comes in the form of luxuriously appointed East African style tented suites, all with en-suite bathrooms and private timber decks overlooking the riverbed. Each tent is carefully positioned among a tangle of Monkey thorn to assure privacy as you relax on your deck area.
ACTIVITIES
Safaris are conducted either on foot or in open-sided game-viewing vehicles.
