The Country House offers 14 luxury rooms including 5 junior suites. All the rooms offer features like handcrafted furniture, pure cotton linen and overhead fans. Almost all rooms lead out onto private balconies or private patio with magnificent views. A complimentary sherry can be enjoyed in one of the guest lounges alongside a crackling log-fire, creating a welcoming atmosphere in winter.
The in house Monneaux restaurant, voted as one of the top 10 Restaurants in South Africa, has become known for its innovative Modern French Cuisine, prepared with fresh, well sourced ingredients and is exquisitely presented. A-la-Carte lunches are served on the magnificent new fountain terrace whilst dinner is served in the understated, yet elegant, dining room or enclosed verandah. The wine list emphasizes local wines that can also be enjoyed by the glass in the cozy wine bar.
