Madagascar wildlife - Perinet and Fort Dauphin
Explore with us the wonders and diversity of Madagascar's wildlife. This itinerary is suitable for those that wish to see a broad spectrum of Madagascar's flora and fauna. This itinerary covers two of Madagascar's most popular reserves, namely Perinet in the eastern region of Madagascar, famed for its large variety of upland rainforest animals and plants and the Berenty Reserve situated in the south of Madagascar, which is dry and semi-desert like.
The area is renowned for the "Spiny Forest" and Berenty is famous for its ringtail and sifaka lemurs and has featured in many National Geographic and BBC documentaries. Suitable all year round except late January-mid-March when cyclones could occur.
