... Steven and I took our trip in April 2013. Anna Lee was absolutely wonderful to work with. I must say, I had hesitation working with a company so far away from home and one that I didn’t know anything about. After much research on the Internet though, and contacting many different travel agencies, I decided to go with African Travel Gateway. The reason why was because of how quickly Anna Lee responded to me and her openness to suggesting what she felt would be the best for my husband and I.
Anna Lee planned our trip from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls and Botswana. Words can’t express how great the planning was done. Our transfers were always on time and the rides were very comfortable. Our stay at the African Rock Hotel in Johannesburg and trip to the Cradle of Humankind were phenomenal. We had our own personal tour guide, who made the trip to the Cradle of Humankind extremely nice. He was very knowledgeable on the area and very friendly. The African Rock hotel personal were also very friendly. The room was comfortable and the food was excellent.
Our hotel stay in Victoria Falls, at the Ilala Lodge, was very nice. My husband and I were the only two people who toured Victoria Falls with Brian. It was extremely personal and Brian was very knowledgeable about the area. After our tour, Brian took us to a local African restaurant called Mama Africa Eating House. It was great, having lunch with Brian and learning the history of the area.
Brian transported us to the border of Botswana, where we were picked up and transported to the airport. At the airport, a staff member from Camp Kuzuma picked us up. Camp Kuzuma was the best. My husband and I were the only two people staying at the camp and needless to say we were treat absoulutely wonderfully. I highly recommend Camp Kuzuma to anyone who has plans on going to Botswana. During our stay at Camp Kuzuma, we took a day trip to Chobe National Park. Once again, the day went fantastically. Everything from the transfers to the tour of Chobe National Park.
Thank you so much Anna Lee for the excellent service you gave me and all your great planning. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Since my return to the United States I have passed your name, and African Travel Gateways name, to everyone I have talked to planning a trip to Africa.
In the future, my husband and I would like to tour more of Africa. When we do, we will definitely contact Anna Lee.
