Good morning Cathy,

Just to let you know that we have all arrived home safely after our wonderful journey in South Africa and Madagascar. I want first of all to thank you for putting together a tour that perfectly followed the brief that I gave you.  The tour was seamless and Lois and I have arrived home on a high knowing that none of our friends were disappointed with any part of the tour.

The Rovos train was a great experience and equally as good as the Blue Train. We were delayed because of the derailment outside Kimberly but were looked after superbly.  Due to the train being late we were put on a coach at Worcester for the last bit of the Journey into Cape Town.  Due to our very late arrival and because dinner was provided on the train the Commodore Hotel indicated to me that they would refund the R 400 per head for dinner at your request.

The choice of guides and drivers for both sectors were as good as we would have wanted and in particular were very helpful in caring for Lois.  Ian Cameron-White the guide on the Cape and Hendry Van Wyk the driver are two of the best, and I hope you will pass on our appreciation of them to their respective companies. I have nothing but admiration for our guide Fano,  driver Tahiana and helper Jacky and the way they negotiated their way through Madagascar.  They were a delight to be with.  Please pass on our appreciation of them to the company they work for.

A few of us are looking at returning in 2017 to go into a couple of lodges in the Okavango, looking particularly at Tuba Tree as one of them.  What can you offer?

I did begin this yesterday but you beat me to it.

With our very best regards and thanks again,

Chris and Lois
