7 Night Safari & Mozambique 5 Star Tour
Day 01
Today you board your flight in Johannesburg for the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Lukimbi Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park for (3) nights on a fully inclusive basis.
Lukimbi Safari Lodge, known as the Jewel of the Kruger National Park, situated on the Lwakahle River offers you gorgeous, breathtaking vistas; you’ll come face-to-face with the abundant wildlife of the bush and some of the most spectacular sunsets Mother Nature bestows. The concession is the biggest in the southern section of the Park and is over 15 000 hectares (37 100 Acres). This is for our guest’s exclusive use. Lukimbi offers the comfort of 16 luxury suites, each with ensuite bathrooms, private lounge and deck. There are 2 ultra luxurious suites with their private swimming pools, dining area and two bathrooms. All 16 cottages have a front-row seat for this rich and rewarding river view, with magnificent trees along the curved riverbed. The rooms map out ultimate luxury offering telephones and laptop connections in each cottage, as well as hairdryers, mini-bars and tea and coffee facilities. One of the cottages is wheelchair friendly. Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge and will be entertained by our hostesses in their own private entertainment center, offering various games, jungle gyms, face painting and bush Olympics. The central reception area and curio shop provide a breathtaking glimpse of the beauty of the area, looking across the river towards an open plain. The concept is to bring as much of the outside to the inside as possible, so covered open decks flow into decorative internal areas. A fully equipped conference and business centre may be booked, giving business people the ideal opportunity to combine business with pure pleasure. For the truly romantic, there is a beautiful chapel seating 40 people. Lukimbi staff can make all arrangements regarding the reception, including flowers, cake and photographs. Other facilities include a well-equipped gym and a swimming pool. There is a well stocked bar, wine cellar and boma. And to make a stay perfect, a full beauty treatment including reflexology and aromatherapy at our health spa will ensure complete relaxation. Being in the Kruger National Park, the game viewing is excellent. Lukimbi is particularly lucky to be home to both white and black rhino as well as the rest of the Big five and a wide variety of general game. The many different species of birds will delight bird watchers. Game viewing opportunities include daily game drives in open four-wheel-drive vehicles with an experienced ranger and tracker. There are 2 game drives daily lasting about three hours each. Game drives are exciting, and unusually for the Kruger Park, venturing off road to view game is permitted, offering exceptionally close viewing. Alternatively, enjoy a bush walk catered to suit guests. For the fit and energetic, long walks can be arranged, or shorter strolls for guests wanting to take things more gently. End each day with a refreshing dip in the swimming pool and a relaxing massage in our health spa, followed by a sumptuous meal lovingly prepared by our expert culinary staff, a delicious variety of African cuisine and delicacies, all capped by a sampling of vintage wines and spirits.

Here you clear customs and will be transferred by boat to Dugong Lodge where you spend the next (4) nights on a full board basis. Included in your stay are the non motorized watersports.
Dugong Lodge is situated on the East-African seaboard on the coast of Mozambique within the boundaries of "The Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary", the first privately managed National Park in Mozambique. The sanctuary covers 30 000 hectares of pristine marine and wildlife territory, a unique 'Beach and Bush' experience in a hidden corner of sub tropical Africa. This diverse eco-system of bush and wetland, with its powder white beaches and crystal clear water is host to a magnificent array of fish, dolphin and very importantly, the nearly extinct "Dugong". Shallow and deepwater reefs reveal beautiful creatures such as the green and leatherback turtles, sailfish, manta ray, to name a few. Big deep-sea game fishing of marlin and barracuda is truly spectacular and the large flocks of flamingoes and pelicans are a sight to behold. Dugong Lodge, perched right on the edge of the beach is an idyllic setting with ten luxury tents built on raised decks in the shade of Msasa Trees and Jecka grass canopies. The lounge and restaurant on raised Mahogany timber decks with a jetty jutting out into the protected Vilanculos Bay, afford one breath taking views of the ever-changing colours and hues of the water dotted with the white sails of ancient dhows. 10 luxuriously appointed chalets with en-suite bathroom and an outside shower comprise the accommodation at Dugong Lodge.
