South Africa

3 Day Kruger National Park Wildlife Safari

3 Day Kruger Wildlife Safari

This sought-after three day Kruger safari starts and ends in Johannesburg, which makes it the perfect option for visitors who fly in from other countries to enjoy South Africa’s prolific wildlife. If game viewing is one of the express purposes of your trip to Africa this particular Kruger Park safari adventure is sure to suit your requirements.

Kruger Park Wildlife Safari

All game drives are enjoyed in open safari vehicles that have been fitted with two-way radios, enabling rangers to communicate with one another and report prime game viewing sites. Not only will this type of game viewing arrangement allow for fantastic photo opportunities, you will also have the advantage of learning from your field guides - all of whom are THETA and FGASA registered and boast a wealth of knowledge about the area and its furry, scaly and feathery inhabitants.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Johannesburg to Kruger National Park (dinner included)
We set out from Johannesburg at 7:00am, heading in a northern direction towards the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Along the way we stop for tea and then continue onward to Hazyview, where we switch vehicles and visitors are transported further in safari vehicles. From this moment onwards your Kruger adventure truly begins -the moment you enter the borders of the park you are guaranteed sightings of some of the continent’s most majestic beasts. After the afternoon game drive, we head towards camp for dinner and a good night’s sleep. Safari accommodation is provided by a Kruger Rest Camp or similar venue.

Day 2 - Kruger National Park (breakfast and dinner included)

Kruger Wildlife Safari

The whole day is devoted exclusively to game viewing, with the best opportunities being early morning and late afternoon when the elusive bush creatures crowd around the watering hole. After a midday siesta we continue our search and, when it becomes dark, we head to the rest camp for dinner and a sound night’s sleep. Accommodation is provided by a Kruger Rest Camp or similar venue.

Day 3: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg (breakfast included)
On our last day in the Park we enjoy an early game drive and return to camp for a hearty breakfast around mid-morning. This allows sufficient time to pack up and head back to Johannesburg. Arrival time is approximately 7:00pm.

Please contact us directly if there is anything more you would like to know about this Kruger Park safari.

Please note:

On the last day of the tour you will be back in Johannesburg at around 7:00pm, although it is impossible to pinpoint the exact time of arrival. It is for this reason that we recommend that safari participants do not reserve any connecting flights for the same day. If, however, you insist on doing so, please do not book a flight earlier than 9:00pm. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for any losses incurred due to circumstances beyond our control.

If you wish to extend your Kruger safari, you may do so by adding on additional nights. These days will follow the same itinerary as Day 2 (quoted below), which included a full day of game drives, as well as bed and breakfast accommodation within the Park.
