Esna recently visited the Little Karoo including La Plume Guest House near Oudtshoorn, Botlierskop Game Reserve near Mossel Bay and Rouxwil Country House near Caledon. Oudtshoorn is only 4 hours drive from Cape Town and has the amazing Cango Caves, Cango Wildlife Ranch, Ostrich Farms and much more.
Botlierskop has an amazing elephant encounter and elephant-back safaris. You can also do game drives there and it is definitely worth a visit if you are not going to the Kruger National park for a safari but still want the safari experience.
Rouxwil is a stunning country lodge near Caledon situated on a working sheep and wheat farm. It is an ideal base for visiting Hermanus and the surrounding areas.
