In September 2012, Lize and Esna drove to Swellendam in the Overberg for a weekend of river rafting on the Breede River. Only a short drive from Cape Town, so a perfect weekend getaway.

When travelling from Swellendam you have a big choice of where to go from Hermanus where you can do whale watching and wine tasting, Montagu, Mossel Bay where you can do a shark-cage dive or an elephant-back safari, Oudtshoorn where you can visit the Cango Caves or do a hot-air balloon flight and the Garden Route. You are surely spoilt for choice!
