Camp Kuzuma is a new comer to the hotel & lodge choices of the Chobe area, in northern Botswana. Aimed at the safari traveller wishing to avoid the big hotel-lodge environment, it offers guests a luxury bush getaway in the Chobe area, that is small, intimate and luxurious, and is therefore ideal for honeymooners or for couples wishing to get away for a short bush break. Camp Kuzma also ties in nicely with a safari itinerary that could include extensions into the Okavango Delta or Savuti areas.
Located just forty five minutes from Kasane Airport, in the Kuzuma Forest Reserve, Camp Kuzuma is made up of only five well appointed luxury tented suites, complete with his & her showers, (as well as an outside shower), deep Victorian style baths, and of course double basins and a toilet. The camp also offers its guests a full range of spa treatments in its health spa that overlooks a well utilized waterhole.
The main area includes a dining room, longe-library, bar and a swimming pool that too overlooks the waterhole. The whole camp is interconnected by raised wooden walkways allowing to guests to move safely through the camp. One of Camp Kuzuma’s unique selling points is its private traversing area of about 4000 sq km of magnificent Boswana wilderness.
An array of wildlife inhabit the area including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion and many other species of game. From Camp Kuzuma guests are taken on guided game drive, night drives and bushwalks all of which are included in the daily rate. Other optional safari activities include boat cruises on the Chobe River, game drives into the Chobe National Park and day trips to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
