Safaris at Flatdogs Camp

Safaris at Flatdogs Camp

Safaris are the main attraction at Flatdogs Camp, and the safari activities take place in the same safari areas as other lodges. An abundance of game occurs in the area, including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant as well as a host of other game species. Each game drive or game walk is accompanied safari guide. The game drives are conducted in 4x4 Toyota Landcruisers. In the afternoon game drives become night drives, which make for added excitement on an African safari. During the dry season (June - Oct) walking safaris are offered instead of game drive, or as part of the game drive. These are conducted during the morning activity as the coller temperatures make it far more enjoyable.
