Our 7-Day Cape Town & Safari Luxury Honeymoon focuses on a mix of the Cape with all its delights and a classical safari in the world-renowned Sabie Sands Game Reserve adjoining the Kruger National Park. This honeymoon can easily be extended to include time at one of Southern Africa’s premier beach destinations or a visit to Victoria Falls.

Day 01 - Arrive Cape Town

On arrival in South Africa at Cape Town International Airport a representative from the Cape Grace Hotel will greet and transfer you to your accommodation where you will spend (03) nights in a Luxury Room on a bed & breakfast basis. Situated on a private quay in Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the elegant and centrally located Cape Grace offers phenomenal views of iconic Table Mountain, the gorgeous harbour and the international yacht marina.

A stay at the Cape Grace is an experience in itself from the moment you step foot in the refined entranceway. Traditional Cape heritage and old-world charm blend seamlessly with modern comforts and exceptional personal service, and the Cape Grace is well-versed at making honeymoon couples feel extra special! The Cape Grace’s Signal Restaurant offers a fresh Cape-influenced seasonal menu in a fine dining atmosphere and there are a myriad of mouthwatering restaurants and cafés to explore along the V&A Waterfront.

Day 02 - Cape Town

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day private tour of Cape Town City & Table Mountain (tickets at own cost, weather-dependent). The tour will offer an informative insight into the culture, history and people of South Africa’s ‘Mother City’.
Highlights of the tour include:
• Table Mountain - travel by cable car to the top of this world-famous landmark and enjoy spectacular views of the city (tickets at own cost, weather-dependent).
• City orientation tour - a great way to get a feel for the city.
• Castle of Good Hope - South Africa’s first fort.
• Malay Quarter/Bo-Kaap - a historical area of Cape Malay culture.
• Adderley Street Flower Market - a colourful Cape Town icon.
• Green Market Square - South Africa’s oldest market.

Spend the afternoon at leisure delving deeper into Cape Town or immerse yourself in the numerous luxuries of the hotel including the Hot Spa, Fitness Studio and the Spa at Cape Grace. The hotel invites guests to partake in an evening port or sherry in the Library or learn about the Wines of the Cape in their Cape Wine Experience.

Day 03 - Cape Town

Following breakfast, embark on a full-day private cheese, wine and chocolate tour, and sample some of the finest cheese and wines that the Cape Winelands has to offer. Indulge in a luxurious wine and dark chocolate pairing that will leave you wanting more.

Cheese, Chocolate and wine tasting at prestigious wine estates in the Paarl, Stellenbosh and Franschhoek
Lunch at a restaurant of your choice

Day 04 - Cape Town to Thornybush Private Game Reserve

After breakfast at the Cape Grace, you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport in time for your flight to Hoedspruit, a small town on the edge of the Kruger Park. On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred by road to the Thornybush Main Lodge where you check in for a (3) night safari on a fully inclusive basis.

Day 05 & 06 - On Safari at Thornybush Main Lodge

Enjoy twice daily game drives while staying in Thornybush. Delicious refreshments are included. Prepare yourself to discover the big five and the other amazing flora and fauna which can be found here. Guided bushwalks are also an option as a safari activity.

Day 07 - Thornybush Game Reserve to Johannesburg

Your extraordinary honeymoon tour concludes with a morning safari activity and breakfast after which you will be transferred back to the Hoedspruit Airport in time for your flight to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport and your outgoing flight home (as booked by you).
