Masuwe Lodge offers travellers the opportunity to experience two of Zimbabwe’s highlights from one comfortable location - the majestic Victoria Falls and the wildlife of the surrounding bush.

Viewing Deck, Masuwe Lodge, Victoria Falls

The drive from Masuwe Lodge to the town of Victoria Falls, and the Falls themselves, is just 10 minutes and yet the lodge is nestled deep in a bush setting.  The sights, sounds and smells of the bush are all around you at Masuwe, wonderful birdlife makes the lodge its home while elephant, buffalo, kudu, giraffe and even lion are often seen from the main deck, or from the private deck in front of each guest room.

Masuwe offers accommodation in nine Wilderness Chalets, tented rooms with en suite bathrooms made of local stone. There is a more spacious, private and romantic Hide-Away for couples in the mood to celebrate and there is a stone and thatch Family Nest, named for the weaver birds that hang their nests in the trees around the lodge.  The Family Nest has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an indoor living area and a private plunge pool by the outdoor deck. Masuwe’s main lodge faces west and offers wonderful views over the waterhole to the setting sun.  There is a swimming pool set in the well-established gardens and meals are often served under the blue Zimbabwean skies on the shady lawn by the pool. A stay at Masuwe is inclusive of game drives in the neighbouring National park as well as visits to the town and the Falls.  Delicious meals are prepared by our inhouse chef and are included in the tariff, as are drinks from the bar.
