3 Night Okavango Fly In Safari
This Okavango Fly In Safari operates from Johannesburg, via Maun into the Okavango Delta and back again to Johannesburg. It is an ideal Botswana safari for those who have limited time and wish to experience the magic of the Okavango Delta.
Day 01 Johannesburg - Maun - Okavango Delta
Today you will meet your flight from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to the Maun Airport in Botswana. On arrival in Maun you will board your light aircraft transfer to the Camp Okavango, where you will spend the next (3) nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Camp Okavango in Botswana is situated on remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round water wilderness experience. Unashamed luxury blends with the Africa of yore in the elegant thatch and lethaka main building which houses a cocktail bar, lounge and dining room, while the expansive open air patio caters for al fresco meals and evenings around a blazing fire. Dinner served by candelabra is renowned among knowledgeable Africa safari travelers. Shaded hammocks, reading benches and a delightful sundeck and plunge pool provide relief during the hot midday hours, whilst an elevated observation platform affords stunning views of the tranquil floodplains.

The Camp accommodates only 24 guests in intimate exclusivity in East African style safari tents individually sited on raised teak platforms with en-suite ablution facilities and a private sundeck. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with a Rhodesian Teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional directors chairs; colorful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway.

Honeymooners are catered for and, for those that demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Camp Okavango boasts the ‘Okavango Suite’ where your stay may include private game viewing activities. All electricity at the lodge is supplied via the national grid, and power is available 24 hours a day. Video cameras can be recharged in guest rooms with out adapters. While the sun rises over the floodplain, you watch the wildlife shed its misty morning shroud. Bursting with life, the bush continuously shifts and transforms as you ride from island to island.

Camp Okavango is the ideal base from which to discover the secrets of the Okavango wetland ecosystem. Experienced resident naturalist guides conduct all game viewing activities. The Okavango Delta is renowned for its great natural beauty and diversity, a heaven for rare species such as the Sitatunga Antelope and a birdwatchers paradise. Game activities include exploring the Okavango by canoe and river craft on wildlife and bird watching expeditions.
Guided nature walks on the islands of the Delta afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness.
