The Mara Serena Lodge has a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape. It is on this terrain where the great annual wildebeest migration take place…. when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the landscape to feed on the rich new grass and give birth to their young. Set on a high ridge, Mara Serena is a modern incarnation of a traditional African village of domed huts.

The 74 Ivory Class huts are constructed to allow each room have a relatively uninterrupted view of the landscape. An interpretation of a traditional Masai Manyatta village of domed huts, Mara Serena Safari Lodge is set on the saddle of a hill where it overlooks the 1,800 square kilometers of rolling plains, woodlands and rivers that make up the Masai Mara Triangle - one of the world’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. Game to be seen on wildlife safaris include: gazelle, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, leopard, and the legendary black-maned lion. A great variety of bird species are also known to the immediate area.
