I must apologize for the delay in responding - my life upon returning from South Africa has been a bit of a whirlwind, trying to catch up on everything at work/home.
Although this is a bit tardy, my appreciation for all you did is deep and sincere - I had such a fabulous vacation, absolutely loved each and every day!
Our guides were all fantastic/informative/accommodating (Ryan in Cape Town was exceptional), our hotel accommodations superb (the apartment in the V&A waterfront was so beautiful, even had a view of table Top Mountain).
The safari was probably the highlight of the amazing itinerary - I loved our ’ tree cabin’ in Kapana and truly felt pampered in that lovely nature setting. We managed to see the Big Five on the drives plus many, many other animals (some of which I had never ever seen anywhere or even heard of).
I learned so much about Apartheid and Nelson Mandela in Johannesburg/Soweto and the visit to Victoria Falls was breathtaking (our tour guide Brian was another exceptional guide) and visiting the Zimbabwe village gave insights to African life that I could never have gleaned elsewhere.
Please know that we counted our blessings every day and recognized what lucky girls we are to have had this vacation experience. Also, each and every day we toasted Anna Lee as our itinerary unfolded as you had mapped it - thank you, thank you.
I have already referred others to your services (I believe my cousin,Leslie Lyons, has worked with you already) as well as to a few friends. With your understanding of the local sites, you meticulously planned a very detailed, complicated itinerary but made it all so transparently simple. We just followed the plan you outlined and could easily enjoy ourselves with little attention to the logistical details. We could never have done that on our own!
