This tour starts in Cape Town, South Africa’s dazzling gem! Catch your breath after your special event at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay while you take in the golden beaches, breathtaking landscapes and picture-perfect Cape Winelands. Continue on to Zambia’s Sindabezi Island Lodge near breathtaking Victoria Falls followed by a classic African wildlife safari experience on the Chobe Riverfront at Muchenje River Lodge. This luxury honeymoon tour departs on demand and concludes in Johannesburg.

Day 01 - Arrive Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be greeted and transferred to The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay where you will spend (3) nights in a Suite on a bed and breakfast basis. This delightful beachfront hotel is nestled in an unrivalled location between the Twelve Apostles mountain range and the glimmering Atlantic Ocean.

Day 02 - Cape Town

After breakfast, enjoy a private full day Cape Peninsula Tour including a deluxe lunch (all beverages and gratuities for your own account). Departing from your hotel, the tour offers an insight into the culture, history and geography of South Africa’s gorgeous Cape Peninsula.

Highlights of today’s tour include:
• Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope – dramatic, rugged tip of the Cape Peninsula.
• Boulders Beach – African Penguin colony.
• Hout Bay – charming fishing harbor and optional boat trip to Seal Colony.

In the Cape of Good Hope National Park there is opportunity to view wildlife including the Cape mountain zebra, bontebok, ostrich and baboon. Climb the steps, or ride the funicular railway car, to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse followed by a visit to the Cape of Good Hope. Following lunch, enjoy close-up viewing of the African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Continuing through Simonstown, take in views of Kalk Bay fishing harbour as we journey along picturesque Boyes Drive mountain pass. Browse the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden set on the lower slopes of Table Mountain before returning to The Bay Hotel. Accommodation: The Bay Hotel. Day 03 - Cape Town

Following breakfast, embark on a private full day Cape Winelands Tour including a deluxe lunch (all beverages and gratuities for your own account). Only 1 hour’s drive from Cape Town, these fertile valleys and picturesque vineyards produce some of the world’s finest wines making the Cape Winelands region the focal point of South Africa’s award winning wine industry. Day 04 - Cape Town to Livingstone, Zambia

After an early breakfast you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport in time for your flight to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and connecting flight to Livingstone Airport in Zambia. You will be greeted and transferred to Sindabezi Island Lodge where you will spend the next (3) nights in a Honeymoon Chalet on a fully inclusive basis.

Sindabezi Island Lodge is a unique and intimate camp situated on a private island on the Zambezi River affording guests the opportunity to feel close to nature in a relaxed and peaceful setting. Sindabezi captures the essence of old world luxury and romance with 5 well-appointed thatched chalets set amidst pathways softly lit with traditional hurricane lamps and candles.

The Honeymoon Chalet is situated on a secluded sandy beach at the end of the island and you will think you have arrived in heaven as you soak up the amazing sights and sounds of the river from the outdoor clawfoot bath! Day 05 -  Livingstone

Spend a wonderfully relaxing day at leisure. The choice is yours - unwind in the comfort and privacy of your beautiful chalet or partake in the activities offer by Sindabezi. There are no set itineraries, simply book times with your guide that are most convenient for you. A visit to Victoria Falls will no doubt be at the top of your list! One of the original natural wonders of the world, breathtaking Victoria Falls is a World Heritage Site and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Africa.

The Falls, accessible from both Zambia and Zimbabwe, boast the best commercial white water rafting in the world, excellent fishing and a hair-raising bungee jump from the iconic Victoria Falls bridge. Dining at Sindabezi is an experience in itself! If you wish, enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner for two on one of Sindabezi’s private dining decks or request a table to be set up in or near your chalet. Accommodation: Sindabezi Island Lodge. Day 06 - Livingstone

Enjoy another heavenly day appreciating the delightful surrounds of Sindabezi Island and partaking in the Lodge’s inclusive activities. Additional activities available in the area can be booked and paid for directly through the Lodge and include elephant back safaris, a tour of Livingstone Island, microlight and helicopter flights over Victoria Falls and jet boat rides in Batoka Gorge. Day 07 - Livingstone to Chobe Riverfront, Botswana

Following breakfast and a boat transfer from Sindabezi Island, you will be transferred by road to the northern border of Botswana where you will clear customs. Muchenje Safari Lodge, your base for the next (3) nights on a fully inclusive basis, is situated in a quiet spot on the western edge of Chobe National Park. Muchenje is ideally positioned high on an escarpment affording spectacular vistas of a seasonal floodplain leading to the Chobe River and fantastic wildlife sightings are common from the Lodge’s inviting main area and viewing decks.

Day 08 - Chobe Riverfront

Spend an exhilarating day on safari on the Chobe Riverfront. The Chobe River and floodplain is one of Africa’s best known and most reliable safari destinations with the river forming the northern boundary of Chobe National Park as well as the international border with Namibia. The riverfront or Serondela area is renowned for its spectacular elephant herds which head to the permanent waters of the river to drink, bathe and play.

The river is home to some sizeable hippo and Nile crocodile, and an enormous diversity of plains game such as giraffe, sable and roan antelope and buffalo venture to the water’s edge to drink. Large prides of lion are also a common sight as well other predators including leopard, hyena and jackal. Accommodation: Muchenje Safari Lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 09 - Chobe Riverfront

Enjoy another exciting day on safari on the Chobe Riverfront. As well as being a paradise for wildlife, the riverfront area is also home to a rich diversity of birds and is a great area for novice birders with plenty of larger, more easily seen species. There is a good population of ground hornbill and the kori bustard is the largest flying bird indigenous to Africa. Also be on the lookout for the distinctive African fish eagle, quite similar in appearance to the North American bald eagle. This magnificent bird of prey has an easily recognizable call and its snow white head, breast and tail stand out as it perches on the branches of tall riverine trees. Day 10 - Chobe Riverfront to Johannesburg

Today, your extraordinary honeymoon tour draws to a close. After breakfast you will be transferred back across the border to Livingstone Airport in Zambia in time to board your outbound flight back to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa.  On arrival in Johannesburg, you will connect with your late evening outbound flight back home (flight at own arrangements).
