Our exciting 7-Day Cape Town & Kruger Park Adventure Combo takes you to two of South Africa’s premier adventure and eco-tourism destinations. The itinerary includes favourite historic and scenic highlights as well as a hearty dose of adventure through an array of activities. Where the Cape Town area has the city vibe together with the sea, mountains, vineyards and a rich history, the Kruger National Park offers you an opportunity to appreciate African wildlife from open vehicle and on foot. This itinerary combines beautiful locations with adventure activities. In both regions, the activities can easily be extended, amended or changed to suit your interests.

Cape Town's Table Mountain

Day 01 – Arrive in Cape Town

On arrival in Cape Town, our representative will meet you to guide you to the transfer for your first overnight destination: the Cape Town Hollow Hotel. You will have three (3) comfortable nights here on a bed and breakfast basis. Cape Town Hollow is located in the heart of Cape Town’s historical city centre. It lies in the shadow of Table Mountain and overlooks the pretty Dutch East India Company Gardens.

On this first day, your time is your own. Enjoy walking the city’s streets to see gracious 18th century buildings, art galleries and museums. Visit bohemian open-air markets and listen to music from talented street musicians in the quaint city squares. Drink coffee at street-side cafes as you watch the city move around you.

Day 02 – Shark Cage Diving

In the early morning we will collect you from the hotel for a scenic two-hour drive to the quaint fishing village of Gansbaai. Our activity for the day is shark cage diving!

After a safety talk, you will board the boat for the ride to ‘shark alley’. ‘Shark alley’ is a channel of water that runs between Geyser and Dyer Islands. This zone is considered to be one of the best great white shark observation areas in the world. The sharks are present all year but during the winter months (June to September) they are more common as migrating great whites spend a few months hanging out around Dyer Island which is home to a colony of Cape fur seals - a great white’s favourite meal. Sharks as well as marine birdlife and marine mammals like seals, dolphins, penguins and, in-season, southern right whales can also be seen from the deck of the boat. A light lunch and necessary safety equipment are included.

Day 03 – Gyrocopter Flight

Gyrocopter in flight

30-minutes from the Cape Town city centre is the scenic town of Durbanvile. It is surrounded by hills, wheat farms and vineyards. We’ve got you booked for a 30-minute gyrocopter flight which will give you a bird’s eye view of the beautiful city of Cape Town and the surrounding countryside, the coast and Table Mountain. After the flight, we return to Cape Town Hollow. The rest of the day is yours. Soak up the energy of the city, walk to the beach or relax next to the hotel pool. If you would like to do more activities, like abseiling, power boating, dune boarding or touring the city in a sidecar, we can make these arrangements for you.

Day 04 – Cape Town to Kruger Park

It is time to leave the city behind and to head for the bush. In the morning, you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport where a flight will take you to Nelspruit (via Johannesburg). Our representative will meet you to take you into the Kruger National Park. You’ll be staying at the Rhino Post Safari Lodge for one (1) night on a fully inclusive basis. Rhino Post Safari Lodge is located in an exclusive concession that incorporates 12,000 hectares of pristine bushveld. It is home to an array of birds and animals, including the Big 5.

Day 05 – Plains Camp, Foot Safari Kruger National Park

After an early morning game drive and a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to the Plains Camp for a walking safari. You spend the next two (2) nights here on a fully inclusive basis.
