10 Day Tanzania Safari

Embark on our 10-Day Tanzania Safari.  This luxury safari will take you to three of northern Tanzania’s best safari destinations - The Tarangire National Park, The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, and the famous Serengeti National Park. To save time and allow for maximum enjoyment of the areas that matter, we make use of ‘seat in plane’ scheduled air charters to join the different areas.

Itinerary at a glance:
Day 1 – Arrival in Tanzania, overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge, Arusha.
Day 2 – Light aircraft transfer to Tarangire Treetops Lodge, Tarangire National Park.
Day 3 – On safari in the Tarangire National Park.
Day 4 – Light aircraft transfer to The Manor at Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Day 5 – On safari in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Day 6 – Light aircraft transfer to Serengeti Pioneer Camp, Serengeti National Park.
Day 7, 8 & 9 – On safari in the Serengeti National Park.
Day 10 – Light aircraft transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for departure. 

Day 1 – Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, Arusha Coffee Lodge

Your 10-day Tanzania Safari will begin at Kilimanjaro Airport.  On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be transferred to the beautiful Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will overnight on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire Treetops, Tarangire National Park

Today you will be transferred to the Arusha Airport in time for your charter flight to Kuro Airstrip, in the Tarangire National Park.  Your guide will be waiting for you on arrival, and you will be transferred to Elewana Treetops Lodge where you will spend the next two nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Tarangire Treetops is located in the perfect position to witness the elephant migration, the suites have spectacular views of the baobabs in the area.

Day 3 – On Safari in Tarangire National Park

Today will be spent on a safari in the Tarangire National Park.  This park stretches over an area of around 20,000 hectares and has a rich population of wildlife as well as birdlife. Activities in the area include game drives, Masaii Community visits, guided bush walks, and many more.

Day 4 – Tarangire Treetops to The Manor at Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Conservation Area

This morning you will be transferred back to the Kuro Airstrip to Manyara Airstrip for your next charter flight to the Ngorongoro Conservation area.  Here you will spend the next 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis at The Manor at Ngorongoro.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a vast area of roughly 800,000 hectares and includes areas of highland plains, savannah, woodland areas, and forest areas.  The Ngorongoro Crater (the world’s largest caldera) falls within this conservation area.

Day 5 – On Safari in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Today will be an early start as you head down into the Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic bed that is now rich in wildlife.  It is common to see some of the big cats such as lions, many elephants, and a plethora of other wildlife. You will enjoy the day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater before heading back to your lodge.

Day 6 – The Manor at Ngorongoro to Serengeti Pioneer Camp, Serengeti National Park

The next stop on your 10-Day Tanzania Safari is the Serengeti National Park.  This morning you will be transferred back to the Manyara Airstrip in time for your next flight to Seronera Airstrip in the Serengeti National Park.  Your guide will be waiting for you on arrival, and you will be transferred to the Serengeti Pioneer Camp where you will spend the next four nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Serengeti Pioneer Camp is located in the south of the Serengeti National Park, the ideal location to witness the annual wildebeest and zebra migrations.

Days 7 to 9 – On Safari in the Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park is one of the larger National Parks in Tanzania and is home to the largest annual Wildebeest migration.  The park is also home to Africa’s Big 5 as well as plenty of plains game.  Activities on offer include game drives, night game drives, walking safaris, and more.  Over these few days, you will discover the mesmerizing beauty of the Serengeti.

Day 10 – Serengeti Pioneer Camp to Kilimanjaro Airport

Today marks the end of your breathtaking 10-day Northern Tanzania Safari.  After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the Seronera Airstrip for your last charted flight back to Kilimanjaro Airport.  Once at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will board your onward flight with amazing memories of your safari.
