This classic 10-day Zimbabwe Safari covers 3 of Zimbabwe’s iconic must-see destinations, namely the Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park and Mana Pools. The itinerary starts at Victoria Falls Airport and ends at Harare. We take care of all travel arrangements throughout the itinerary. We can easily extend the itinerary to include some of nearby Botswana’s safari experiences, as well as add regional flights and or services to South Africa.

Mana Pools to Harare International Airport
On arrival at the Victoria Falls International Airport, Zimbabwe, you will be met and transferred to the Victoria Falls River Lodge. This relatively new lodge offers 13 luxury tented suites on the banks of the Zambezi River and is located in the Zambezi National Park itself. Here you will spend the next (2) nights on a fully inclusive basis. This afternoon you have the option of going on a sunset game drive or just relaxing in your new environment.
This morning after your breakfast, you will be taken on your guided Tour of the Victoria Falls which is a once-in-a-lifetime natural spectacle. You will visit the seemingly lazy Zambezi River thundering into the gorge causing a continuous plume of spray that can be seen for kilometres.
You will be back at the lodge by lunchtime. This afternoon you will be taken to the Jetty to board your Sunset Cruise including light snacks and local drinks.
After your breakfast, you will be transferred back to the Victoria Falls Airport, where you will board your light aircraft transfer to the Manga Airstrip in the Hwange National Park (12h30 / 13h05). Here you will be met and transferred to the Somalisa Camp to spend the next (3) nights on a fully inclusive basis.
Included in your stay are: Accommodation, all meals, bar accounts (excluding premium imports), laundry, emergency medical evacuation insurance, park fees, twice daily game viewing activities, return airstrip transfers, conservation levies and the services of professional ranger and camp staff.
Days spent on safari at Somalisa Camp in the Hwange National Park. Your day will start early with a guided game drive in an open vehicle, followed by a late breakfast at camp. In the afternoons when the heat has dissipated, you will enjoy another open-vehicle safari.
Hwange National Park is one of Zimbabwe’s wildlife treasures. Home to an abundance of game including tens of thousands of elephants that roam the region. The terrain is a mix of Mopane woodland in a Sandveld setting with open vleis and rocky outcrops in places.
After your breakfast, you will be transferred back to the Manga Airstrip, where you will board your light aircraft transfer to the Dandawa Airstrip in the Mana Pools National Park (13h55 / 16h20). On arrival at Dandawa, you will be met and transferred to the Kanga Camp where you spend the next (4) nights on a fully inclusive basis.
Included in your stay are: Accommodation, all meals, bar accounts (excluding premium imports), laundry, emergency medical evacuation insurance, park fees, twice daily game viewing activities, return airstrip transfers, conservation levies and the services of professional ranger and camp staff.
Days spent on safari at Kanga Camp in the Lower Zambezi’s Mana Pools. Your day-to-day routine will follow the same pattern of twice daily guided open vehicle safaris, which at Kanga can also be switched to guided walking safaris. Mana Pools is arguably Zimbabwe’s premier safari destination. Thousands of hectares of Mopane woodland, vleis, open park-like woodlands, floodplains and pans characterize this pristine savanna landscape. Wildlife is abundant in the area and home to a healthy predator population including lion & wild dogs as well as a healthy leopard population.
After your breakfast, you will be transferred back to the Dandawa Airstrip, where you will board your light aircraft transfer to the Harare Airport (07h30 / 10h15). On arrival in Harare, you will connect with your afternoon outbound flight back home. (Flight at own arrangements)
